Pastor Ralph Richardson, III has been proclaiming the Good News of the Gospel for 40 years.  He preached his initial sermon and was licensed by Dr. Joe B. Fleming, on October 10, 1982 at Third Baptist Church, Portsmouth, Virginia. His focal point of ministry continues to be a burning desire to lead people to a saving knowledge of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, teaching the Word of God and encouraging fellow saints to be soul winners.

Following the unction of the Holy Spirit, he resigned from NNSY in 1988 to devote his time to Christian education. Preparation for the call of the Lord on his life has been enhanced by his pursuit of biblical education. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pastoral Ministries from Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA and a Master of Ministry degree from Tabernacle Bible College and Seminary.  Pastor Richardson is an avid reader and prolific writer.

Greater service was presented to him in October 1993, when he was called to lead Little Grove Baptist Church, Suffolk, VA. Under his leadership the edifice was expanded to meet the growing needs of the congregation and the community.  An after-school tutoring program was instituted and The Foundation Learning Center was established. FLC currently provides education to close to seventy-five students.  His vision, to Bring Them In, Train Them Up and Send Them Out is executed through his unwavering commitment to see people saved.

During his years of service, he has been gifted to write several news editorials, facilitate seminars for church leaders, led radio and television broadcasts (One Way Ministries), and preach God’s message of grace locally and abroad. Pastor Richardson, Lady Lynnette and Deaconesses Joyce Elliott and Mary Ward were blessed to lay the cornerstone and dedicate Pillar and Ground of Truth Baptist Church, Bangalore, India to God’s service.

Pastor and Elect Lady Lynnette enjoy a ministry partnership which enables them to reach people for Christ through counseling, volunteering, being foreign mission ambassadors and opening their hearts and home to all. The Richardson’s have been blessed with three children {Arminta, Roderick & Candace}, nine grandchildren and one great-grand child. Their youngest daughter, Candace, has gone to live her eternal life with her Heavenly Father, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Now unto Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask of think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be the glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever.  Amen.  Ephesians 3:20-21 NKJV
